Hi there my crafty friends! I started today's card by playing with some of the new
Pixie Sparkle colours. I sprinkled
Molten Gold and Boulevard Lights all over a piecee of white card and spritzed them with water to activate the powders. I allowed it to dry thoroughly, then used the
Heart Strings embossing folder on it for texture. I cut a black frame using the
Decorative Noble Hearts. I added a white backing piece to it then added it with foam to the middle of the card. I cut the single heart from the
Heart Accessories set and added the bud from a leftover piece of the background. I cut the
Follow Your heart sentiment in black and glued it to the inside of the frame with the rose. I cut two thin heart borders from the
Romantic Edger set out of black and used them diagonally in the lower right corner as an accent. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

Beautiful way to start the weekend. I do love the heart strings folder and your colourful background takes on the effect of gilding flakes, I have to venture out to my local craft shop for a re-stock of cardstock so I just might take a look at Jamie's pixie sparkle collection, another CE designer designing and making us poor lol.
