Layered Snowflake Background

Hello crafters!  I started by covering a piece of white card with Teal Marine Pixie Sparkles.  I spritzed them with water to activate the powder and used a paintbrush to help cover the entire card.  Once dry, I cut the Layered Snowflake Background into it.  I cut the snowflake in white and added it to the centre of the card with mounting foam.  I added a thin white frame around it using the Double Stitched Squares.  I cut a larger piece of white card covered with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled the backing paper off and laid down multiples of the centre snowflake all cut in white to give texture to the background.  I burnished them into the adhesive sheet, then sprinkled Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to fill in the remaining exposed adhesive areas.  I added the square frame to the centre.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimenions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  all for now, Sue x

Hi Sue I love how you make a background with dies, who said you need embossing folders? I don't have enough of those big boys but you show so many alternatives and I love how it looks.
There is nothing to dislike about todays inspiration in fact it's a beautiful CAS card with a smile enclosed.
Love to all that visit and to our regular friends that we've not seen for a while. Stay safe and well xxx

Good morning Sue and all.
I was up so late today just when I should have been early as I have a friend coming for a visit while it's still allowed.
I love todays card and all it's ramifications. I do believe that you could 'Make a silk purse out of a Sow's ear'
Have a goood day.

Hi Sue
A beautiful clean and simple card, love the colour of the teal pixie sparkle and I’ve used your tip about using a brush to move the colour over the card.

Love and hugs to everyone

Hi Sue. I particularly love this snowflake and, as I am sure everybody knows by now, I do like to use snowflakes on my Christmas cards. This one is just the right size to make a statement on it's own.

I don't have this particular snowflake but I'm sure one of your others may be a good substitute. WakeyL
