Many Thanks

Hello bloggers!  What else could make this stunning blue background, but , yes, you guessed it, pixie powders!  I started by making a couple of sheets of Midnight Blue Pixie powdered backgrounds.  Using the Double Stitched Circle die set, I cut three different sizes circular frames.  I attached a circle cut into the dry pixie powdered card using the same sized circles and added the frames to the edges with foam.  I attached all three of the circles so they started from the same point on the left of the card and fanned outward.  I cut two of the Jocelyn die in white and nipped them in half.  I used each piece glued into the corners and the three frames attached in the centre of the card so they covered the cut ends.  I made two of the Triple Layered Dragonflies using silver mirror card, antique silver and white card and attached the around the circles edges.  I used the Many Thanks shadowed sentiment cut out of silver mirror car and attached to a white shadow backing and glued them into place in the centre of the smallest circle.  I completed the card with white, silver mirror card and antique silver card mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are
8" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue
Absolutely stunning!
With amazing Pixie Powder and the wonderful double stitched circles (which I was lucky enough to win in the last launch), this card could not fail to be a winner. I am completely bowled over by your layering dies and some of them are hopefully going to be my present for Mother’s Day - I have dropped a lot of hints.
Will be watching Julia today on HOCHANDA and also catching up on her shows from yesterday as I didn’t get a chance to watch.
Crewe Trish - it is nice to be commenting again. Ann Topp - wow a tailoress - I am so impressed. Always wanted to be a dab hand with a sewing machine but it wasn’t to be!
Happy Monday everyone

Hi Sue. That background colour is amazing and gives the biggest pop to the whole design. The first thing that came to mind when your sample fully loaded was 'pigs ear' because I know for certain that's what my effort would look like, if I decided to have a try at this beauty it would end up looking awful, either a pig's ear or sows purse ( anyone is welcome to Google this saying if it makes no sense to you) lol.
Whatever your plans for the day Sue hope it's a great day xxx

Hi Sue,
This is superb, a fabulous card with a very simple design (but the difficulty with "simple designs" is that one has to think of it in the first place).
I felt the pixie powders coming on for a while now, when the weather gets better can hang them up on the washing line.
Hugs, Rose

Hi Sue, love the midnight blue pixie powder it is so vibrant and when surrounded by white circles it looks stunning. The silver dragonflies are lovely, they would think that they had landed on a blue Himalayan poppy :-)

Hi Sue. Just my sort of thing today as I love designs that are not symmetrical. Now, if I could just get my pixie powders to look as spectacular as yours I would be on to a winner.

I had the strangest "vision" when I saw your dragonflies on this lovely card. In the backing area of the wings, I "saw" opalesCent colored paper instead of your white card. This is making me laugh. Stranger things have happened to me, but this is a first. Oh, by the way, I dream in color, too. LOL.
