Can't Wait To Sea You

Hi bloggers!  I started my mermaid card by using the Double Stitched Circles and cutting two apertures into a piece of coconut white card in opposite corners.  I added mounting foam to the back to raise it.  Next I used the Ocean Waves layering die to make backgrounds behind the aperture openings.  I used Aqua, Ocean and White card glittered with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz for the three layers and attached them behind the openings.  Next I used the two mermaids from the Mermaid Kisses die set and cut them both in milk card and Ocean card.  I used ink to colour their hair and add some warmth to their skin tone, then cut away the body on the ocean card die cuts and glued them over the mermaid cut in milk card.  I added each of them to the apertures with foam.  I cut a few of the fish, seaweed and seahorse to add in with them in the apertures.  I cut the sentiment in Ocean card and glued it to the card between them.  Below there, I added more seaweed cut out of various shades of green card, along with a sea turtle and seashells. I added a similar scene with a sea turtle, seaweed and some fish to the area to the left of the top aperture. The card was completed with simple white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now. Sue x
