Thank You

Hello bloggers!  Since it is the end of the year, I am going through my older files to see what cards I might have missed and I found this pretty one.  I started by cutting the Diamond Squares Background out of wisteria card.  I backed it with black card, then added a multi layered frame over it using the Double Stitched Squares.  Next I cut two of the Flora die in white and offset them.  I added them to the centre of the card with a black circle backing piece.  I cut the centre of the Ivy Garden Background in wisteria and backed it in white.  I used it as a base for my Thank You sentiment.  I completed the card with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi there Sue. Back home - the farm went back in the box lol but the fairy cakes 'Yorkshire' buns' came out a treat with my little baker in apron and chef hat lol. I wish I had her take on this gorgeous sample and it's one die I adored from launch, the ivy garden, sometimes I can't fall in love with the picture of the die in its package until the samples filter through but this has the wow factor and every sample you've given us and others I've seen have been adorable there's no other word, so as I had 2 repeats this Christmas (my fault for sneaking them in without my keeper knowing) I'm replacing one with the ivy garden die and I can't wait. Personally I'm thrilled that you are going through the older files because in the past you've forgotten some absolute heart stoppers so each needs their Showtime here, so I really look forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve for us craft hungry followers.
I hope today will be a good day for you Sue ..... keep searching xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another beautiful creation, love the background, I must admit I have got this die but I don't think I have used it so you have inspired me to get it out and have a play.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Good morning Sue and all.
What a gorgeous die you have been hiding away Sue. The card you have made with it is so beautiful that I will have to try so hard to resist buying the die. I have made up my mind not to buy more dies until I have used all of mine at least once. I have lots of questions I would like to ask but I would prefer to ask Sue rather than Google lol.
I'm looking forward to the New Year's bounty.
Cheers.

A lovely card today using flora, she is so pretty. I fell in love with this die on launch, but somehow I haven’t got it yet & the same with the background die. I was going to say a lovely black & white card until I read that you had used wisteria for the background, it wasn’t until I zoomed in that I could pick out wisteria, it really is a delicate colour. Thank you Sue.

Good Morning Sue. Beautiful card Sue. And I am glad to say I am a proud owner of the star of the show. I just love my Flora die. It looks great as a full piece and works brilliant for filling in bits on those little plain parts we some times get. Yes just beautiful today Sue. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

Hello Sue and all
Love seeing cards made with some of the “old” dies, probably the ones we have and have not used in ages. This is such a pretty card, love the ivy die offset and the background is fabulous,

Hi Sue, I love Flora, use her a lot and really like the Diamond Squares Background I'm just not sure that I would use them together but hey, I'm not the designer lol and I am sure the pictures don't do full justice to the beauty of the card.

Hello Sue. I am surprised that this one didn't find it's way to the blog before now as it is so pretty. As I have most of these dies there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to recreate something like it.

Hi Sue,
Like any other Wilsonettes, I love it when you show us a card using your older dies. It makes me go through my dies and try to link them with the latest purchases.
I have the Flora die but will have to use one of my older background dies if I am to replicate this card.
Still sorting thorough my Christmas dies etc, whilst trying to tidy out my 1craft/bedroom. Hugs xx Pauline

Hi Sue,

I also like to see your older dies and cards: I have this background I am sure, so weekend coming up, I am going to be like Pauline and clear out my craft room/cupboards, there are always surprises to be found.

Your card is gorgeous, with the tiny flowers, and something tells me, I have that die too.
Yes a tidy up is in order.

Love n hugs
