Hello Sue and all
Another of your classic steam punk but definitely not grungy cards, really like them. The background looks fabulous too

Hi Sue. Joy oh Joy, it maybe steampunk but a breath of fresh air after completing my final order yesterday I really feel a weight has been lifted and I could do a happy dance all the way to YouTube to watch you put this together, until you get up close you wouldn't realise it had little cogs, I feel my cogs have stopped turning, maybe a little WD40 will help. Why do people insist on having family members names on a card, can't they imagin each of the 4 Gingerbread 'people' are mum, dad, child 1 and child 2 !!! It's so lovely to have started my day with your beautiful creations before heading off to make cards that sometimes I don't think 'work' but they get what they ask for, so thank you Sue for some normality. Have a great day xxx

The cogs look good in green. Patina is green, ish, right. I wonder if I cut the cogs from a bronze pearl card and tipped them with something in the patina range. Does anybody have any suggestions for reviving a pot of glitter kiss? Both the green and red just leave a gritty trail, hardly any color. I tried spritzing inside the pot, then sealing it, but the results were no better. Boiling water? Stir?

I’ve been working hard on my holiday cards and making very slow progress. I’m starting to think that the key to success is arriving at a design that delivers the most wow per erg. Also, each step is so easily imagined, but then everything else happens — you can’t get the package open, the thing drops behind the table, the scissors or pokey tool that you JUST HAD IN YOUR HAND is nowhere to be found, cranking the Platinum so much causes a pile to fall off the edge, a telephone solicitor calls, the sentiment die you were going to use isn’t in its package so where is it? Growling stomach can be ignored but not feeling faint and nauseous. What happened to the rest of the best green? Have to cut more wax paper, find another roll of tape, reink the pad, How did I put that die facing away from the paper? Growling stomach again. The cat, tired of being put off, walks directly into Project Central and sits down. If only we could suspend intake and elimination until the cards are done. And finally, day is done when you wake up from the little nap you took while cranking the machine out and back. But the next morning it’s fun to see how everything came out.

Keep your embossing powder dry.

Morning Sue,I also agree with everyone that your steampunk wreath is so pretty but it could have additional accessories on for those crafters who want a more traditional wreath, such as holly leavesetc. I personally wouldn't change a thing. Hugs xx Pauline

Good morning Sue and all.
I'm not a lover of steampunk really but the present card manages to look elegant with your magic touch Sue.
Donita, you have expertly covered a day of my life(minus the cat) I still have the family cards to do and my craft room looks like a disaster area!
Have a great week-end.

This card is a ‘pretty’ steampunk, even though the two words don’t normally go together! Only you could do that Sue!

I am not much for Steampunk but a Sue Wilson version is quite pleasing.
Donita, thank you for the chuckle. I also seem to have "progressive stamping/ card making episodes....up and down with many interruptions (old doggie going in and out and supplies in three rooms). BUT we love it and it all works eventually. I am done with Christmas cards for this year. I packed up my stamps and have a few extras for that person who never sent a card before this year.
Everyone, have a wonderful weekend. Still gloomy muck here. Will the sun ever come back??
