Hope Your Days Are Sunny & Bright

Hi bloggers!  I selected a piece of sky blue card for the background.  I taped off the top of it with a piece of copy paper and sponged Salty Ocean Distress ink along the bottom quarter of it.  Next I cut two pieces of sand out of taupe card and glued them along the bottom of the card.  I used brown and green card to cut two palm trees from the Palm Beach die set and glued them to either side of the card.  I cut the Beach Bather out of milk card and coloured her swimsuit in yellows with multi coloured polka dots.  I glued a straw hat to her and added a small yellow ribbon bow with a flower in the middle.  I added her to the middle of the sand with mounting foam..  I cut a beach bad out of raspberry card and added flip flops and sunglasses coming from the top.  I cut the larger sun from the Palm Beach die set in bright yellow and glued it to the upper corner.  I used the Hope Your day is Sunny & Bright cut from both white and black card,  The black die cut was used as an offset shadow behind it before gluing to the top of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x 8" in size.  All for now, Sue x
