Wishing You A Day Full of Sunshine

Hello there my crafty friends!  I started today's card by cutting a piece of white card for the background.  I decided to sponge some Antique Linen distress ink on the bottom of the card for the look of sand.  Next I cut the Beach towel and the umbrella from the Beach accessories die set.  I cut the towel in white then added stripes of aqua card and ocean card.  I cut the umbrella out of ocean card, then added the sections of aqua to it and a white pole to it.  I cut the Beach Bather with the polka dotted swimsuit and coloured her with markers.  I did the beach hat by cutting the die two more times with a small piece of ocean card.  I hand cut around the brim on one and just the very centre of the hat on the other one.  I added the smaller part with mounting foam for the 3D look of the hat.  I cut the plane out of teal card an added the banner cut out of white card.  I used a fine tipped marker to trace the words on the banner.  I added the larger sun cut in white in the upper corner.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, it is a glorious sunny day here in Kent just like the card you have made, the sun is shining and it is going to be very hot. Love the colour choice which is my favourite colour, and the detail on each die is amazing, love it.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

You can’t fail to make a fabulous card with this collection! I love the trailing sentiment from the little plane.
