Thinking Of You

Hello bloggers!  I cut a piece of white card and used an Oval die to cut an aperture in it.  I embossed the piece with the Tidal Sands embossing folder.  I added mounting foam to the back of it.  I cut another piece of white card for use behind the aperture.  I sponged Sailboat Blue distress ink on it.  I cut a yellow circle and glued it the upper corner as a sun.  I cut the sand from the Palm Beach die set and glued it at the bottom.  I added the aperture over it. Next I cut three palm trees in black and glued them into place coming in from the sides of the aperture. I cut the polka dotted suit Beach Bather in milk card.  I coloured the swimsuit with markers and glued a straw hat to her head and seated hr on the sand with mounting foam.  I cut the Thinking of You sentiment in black and glued it under the aperture.  I also cut the signpost from the Palm Beach die set and added it next to the sentiment.  I used a fine tipped black marker to trace the wording on the signpost.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x
