Dear Friend

Hello bloggers!  I started today's card by creating the background.  I used the Shaving foam technique using pixie powders.  You can see the demo if you click on the link at the top of the blog.  I used Midnight Blue, Candy Pink and Purple Violet Pixie Powders mixed into the shaving cream.  I cut the Butterfly Breeze Cover Plate in both white and black card.  I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the white die cut.  I glued it to the shaving foam background.  I cut the Dear Friend sentiment out of leftover card from the shaving cream background.  I cut the sentiment in black and used it as an offset shadow behind the other die cut.  I glued it on to the white part of the die cut.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5 3/4"  x  7"  in size.

All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, wow I can remember doing the shaving foam technique years ago at one of my first workshops, it still look so effective on this card, really nice. I am sorry to see that Creative Expressions are closing their doors, it is a great sham, but these things happen. Will we still have your blog every day, if not will we still be able to see the blog to give us inspiration.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue. I love the background of this really pretty card. It's funny how we all used these techniques in the past and have forgotten all about them. What a treat to see them being used again - thank you for that.
I am sorry to learn that Creative Expressions will be closing, they were a great inspiration for me when I started my creative journey.

Good Morning Sue and all that visit this morning. I am so sorry to read June's post about creative expressions closing. Does this mean we will lose our lovely blog ... Surely not ... I hope. I didn't even know till I saw this morning . Can someone tell me what's happened. Most upsetting news.
Todays card is lovely. Colours I love to see ... made with some of my favourite pixie powders products.
Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.

June Smith.... Please could you keep us informed about Creative Expressions. I didn't even know where to look to find out. It would be much appreciated. Thankyou from Ann Topp
