For My Friend
Hello bloggers! I cut the Della die with a piece of black card and a piece of white card underneath it. I used the white copy that had the image embossed into it to colour with alcohol ink markers. I attached the black die cut on top of it and cut the die down the centre. Using the Round Corner Squares, I made a multi-layered frame with a wider Mauve base and a thinner black frame on top. I added mounting foam to the back of the frame and attached the two cut edges of the die to it. I added it to a piece of white card. I cut the For My Friend sentiment in black and glued it to the inside of the frame. The card was completed with white, mauve and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size.

Take care all Kitty.
Hi Sue
A lovely card.

Love it. Shows the versatility of the dies.
Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh I so love this sample, I made one very, very similar at a workshop I went to recently. The difference with mine was a put a scalloped frame around it and added some lilac gems onto the looped bits above and below the flowers. I was so pleased with how mine came out that I have cut out another 2 sets in different colours to make some more.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Good morning Sue,
A beautiful card & lovely colour combination. Yvonne xx
Hi Sue. This card shows why I like to look at your blog every day. I would have used this die to make a round design in the centre of the card rather than the way you have used it here. What a good idea to use it at the top and bottom of the card. Thanks for the inspiration.

Morning Sue, a beautiful floral card, sure to be treasured by any friend. Bx
Good Morning Sue and all that visit this morning.
Yes I agree whole hearted with LISBETH this morning. Not only do you use the dies as they are presented ... You have the ability to see beyond ... And use the dies in a different way. Only you could decorate and then cut the whole thing into half to create stunning cards like this. I would never have thought of this. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏 everyone.
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds,

Hi Sue

Love and hugs to everyone

A pretty card & as usual you have thought outside the box by cutting the die in half & positioning it at the top & bottom rather than just in the centre. I must really try to do this more! Thank you Sue.
Beautiful card Sue xx Hazel
