Fondest Wishes

Hello there my crafty friends!  Today's card is a clean and simple (and quick) card.  I had a small piece of pixied card left so I decided to use it for this card.  It was made with Olive Green, Emerald Green and Sun Yellow Pixie Powders on white gloss card then covered with scrunched up cling film and set aside to dry.  I used the Looped Squares and cut a large white base.  I glued the pixie card the the bottom portion of the mat.  Next I used the Scalloped Circles, but I only used the bottom portion of the circle, I cut the sides even with the inside edge of the Looped Squares.  Using the Double Stitched Rectangles, I made a small white frame and added it to the top of the card with mounting foam.  I cut the Fondest Wishes die in black and glued it inside the frame.  I cut a heart balloon out of the pixied card and added a sting from the Dotty Balloon die.  I added it off the edge of the frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

Ho Sue.
I'm not 100% sure, there feels like something is missing, maybe the white mat needs embossing to give some interest and texture, just my thoughts although I know there'll be many blog friends that won't agree.
Struggling with antibiotics again, wish it would all come to a blooming end.
Love and good health to everyone here xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh this is so sweet, what a lovely sample this is, I am definitely going to add this to my to do list, although I don't have the lovely green background, I might try and make it myself.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Good Morning Sue. What a lovely simple card to make when you are in a hurry. I love it. It just shows what you can make with the barest of tools. This really is a clean and simple card
Another thing I like to do is. When my work top gets too messy. Get a piece of card, Look around and see what I can make with all the die cuts and stuff lying around. I have made some really nice cards this way. We should make it a monthly challenge lol. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
Please X stay safe and well 🙏.
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.

Keep you chin up STEPHANIE. Hope you are feeling better 🤒

Hi Sue, a lovely CAS card. The simplicity belies the thought and work that has actually gone into it. I would find it very hard not to want to add something else lol.
