Hello crafters! I cut the Swirly Scrolls Background in white. I glued a piece of Iris card to the back of it. Using the shadow die from the Sending Big Hugs, I cut an aperture in the centre of the card. I added mounting foam to the back of the background and attached it to another piece of Iris card. I cut the Sending Big Hugs sentiment in black and recessed it down into the aperture opening. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I have not seen one of these types of cards for a long time with the outside cutting die of the sentiment cut as an aperture, it looks perfect with all the swirls, very pretty indeed.

Hi Sue. How different to see the sentiment recessed into a card for a change. I may have to use this idea myself!
