Just Because

Hello there my crafty friends!  I selected a piece of pixied card as the background.  I used Midnight Blue and Purple Twilight Pixie Powders on it, then covered it with a piece of cling film and set it aside to dry.  Using the Cecelia die, I cut the centre of it into the middle of my pixied card.  I added a piece of black card covered with a sticky adhesive sheet behind it.  I added Black Onyx Glitter to the exposed sticky areas.  I cut a thin white frame to go around it using the Double Stitched Circles.  I cut the scalloped border from the Decorative Borders twice in black, then added them to a strip of white card and glued them to the sides of the card.   I cut the Just Because sentiment in white, shadowed it in black and glued it to the centre of the frame.  Using the Pierced Layered Flowers, I cut white bases for three flowers then added outlines cut from leftover pixied card and glued them onto the flowers and added black centres to each of them.  I seated them around the circular frame with white leaves as accents.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  9 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x
