Thinking Of You This festive Season

Hi there my crafty friends!  I started by cutting the Christmas Rose panel out of green pixied  card.  I cut it again out of pale pink, then cut the flowers out and glued them onto the green card die cut.  I added yellow centres then glued Micro beads in them. I used Berry Sparkle PVA glue on the tiny sprig ends. I cut the other die from the Christmas Rose panel twice out of white card.  I added a green pixied powder backing to them.  I cut the Clipped Corner Rectangles and made a large white frame.  I attached the frame over the three panels, clipping the corners to fit.  On the centre panel I mounted it slightly raised over the two outside panels and added the white frame from the set to the panel.  I cut the Thinking Of You This Festive Season out of black card and glued the two sentiments in opposite corners.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue.
Like Kitty I also feel this is very appropriate for this time of year, all over the world the lead up to and the festive season is a sad time for so many people and families, so this is a lovely peaceful and sensitive nod towards this difficult time of year.
Welcome back PP hope life is being kind to you, and Heather (crafty) hope you're doing OK, in my thoughts every day xx
Keep well, safe and happy to all xx

Morning Sue, a beautiful card especially for someone who has lost a loved one. Sorry I have been absent for a few days but have been very worried about my granddaughter who is very ill in France with E.coli. She is still in a lot of pain and has an abscess on her kidney now too. Love Jean xxx

Hi Sue
Happy Friday everyone x
A festive card that certainly doesn’t scream Christmas. This could be used any time of year.
Gorgeous. Love the texture that the micro beads give. When I use micro beads I usually end up dropping them everywhere. And of course, the Pixied background - screaming luxury. Anything Pixied and I’m there
Steph - things are ‘kind’ for now thank you x
Crewe Trish - thank you. I missed the blog x
jean.phillips.1 - hope your granddaughter gets better soon x
Take care one and all x
Sending you all positive thoughts x

As everyone says an ideal thinking of you at Christmas card. I received some of these last year & they were far more personal than the generic happy Christmas cards. Thank you sue.

Hi Sue
A very fresh and pretty card today love the sentiment but makes me feel sad as I won't be with our family this Christmas and all others that are in the same situation this Christmas.

I didn't get the title and the card design until I read your description. I honestly thought this was an 'all round year flower card'. I think it's because there is no red used. Beautiful card in its own right. WakeyL

Hi Sue, I'm so sorry that I did not leave a comment on yesterday's very pretty card, I loved it. Yellow and white are lovely spring colours and this one brightened up a very dull and wet day. The paved pearl technique is one I haven't done for a long time, maybe it is time to re-visit.
Today's thoughtful card is lovely and one that we all have had cause to make the last couple of years and I think that this style would be appreciated by most who will not be celebrating Christmas in the usual way.

Jean Phillips - I hope your granddaughter gets better very soon, it's always harder when a loved one is miles away and you just want to hug them better.

Hi Sue. What a lovely card today and, although the sentiments suggest a Christmas Card, it doesn't really scream Christmas to me so could be used all year round.
