Enjoy The Magic Of The Season
Hello bloggers! I selected a piece from my background stash to use as the background for today's card. On white gloss card I used alcohol inks to create a sort of heavenly sky. I used Sailboat Blue, Cobalt, Wild Plum and the silver mixative. I cut a Slimline Looped Rectangle in white then cut the background to fit on top. I wrapped a piece of vellum around it on the bottom before attaching it to the background. I cut the Christmas Angel out of silver card for her dress and used a milk card die cut for the base. I added the dress in layers and coloured her face, hair and hands with pencils. I cut her wings out of silver mirror card. I glued a star in the upper corner and used the Enjoy The Magic of the Season sentiment cut in silver. I added a shadow using Silver Mirror card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 5 1/2" x 9 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Until we see a close up of your alcohol ink background the little white bits almost look like tiny sequins, I find it's an unusual pattern for a festive type card but no matter how unusual its beautiful because its different. As for your main element, I've never been one for Angels and I know you are proud and love your new Angel every year, out of them all this is my favourite.
