Birthday Wishes

Hi bloggers!  It's a yellow and white day today!  I started with the Floral Frame and I cut it in white.  I cut the extra flowers out of a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet attached to it.  I attached the flowers to the frame and then added Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to each of them.  I added the shadow die to the frame and cut it in white.  I used the Birthday Wishes Sentiment Block and cut it out of both custard and flax coloured card.  I added the sentiment cut in flax on top of the original die cut, then attached it to the frame.  I used white PVA Glue dots on each of the little sprigs from the frame.  I cut a custard and flax mat then added the frame to it.  I cut one more wider white mat and then used white PVA glue dots all around the frame in my paved pearl manner (see tutorial at the top of the blog for more info).  The card was completed with white and flax mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  9 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue.
This is absolutely stunning in every sense of the word, you've bought a little bit of spring into the UK Autumn, and the hint of yellow you added reminds me of Easter, another fresh happy clean card, with my favourite size sentiments.
Stay well, stay safe, love to all xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I am liking this one very much, I did 2 like this using the other frame with the foliage on, very similar to the one Jamie did on his blog. So I have 2 of them made and also I made a pick and white one very similar. When I saw this one I knew it was going to have to go onto my list. Thank you so much for sharing. xx

Take care with the weather over there which is coming xx

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Good morning Sue
Todays card is fabulous! The paved Pearl technique is a blast from the past I had forgotten all about it! My prize floral frame arrived yesterday and it’s even prettier in real live. I’ve made a card using it and turned it into a poinsettia frame by covering the flowers using small poinsettias. Thank you so much!
Hugs x

Great card, although yellow’s not a fave of mine, I love the layout and can visualise this card in different colours

Hi Sue. Love the two yellows that you have used for today's card, but the best thing for me is the different textures of the flowers and the glue dots.

I absolutely love this bright, spring looking card, Sue! So beautiful and elegant with those gorgeous little glittery flowers, with white dots of PVA glue around the frame and on the little sprigs. You always pay so much attention to the smallest details.

Hugs from Toronto to you all.
Stay safe and healthy.

What a lovely spring like card with your paved pearls on the background. It’s good to revisit old methods. It is the attention to detail that makes your cards stand out from the crowd. Thank you Sue.
