Hello bloggers! We are starting day two with the Slimline Shadowbox die set. There are two dies in this set which are the actual shadowbox die and an outer cutting die. I made the decision to not add any stitching or piercing to this die because you can easily cut away some of the boxes to create larger box areas. This will allow you so much more versatility in the projects you can do! If this set is singing your name, then don't forget to add a comment to this post. I'm loving the accessories within your little frame, I'm not certain how much I'd use the slimline frame, not because I'm not a lover of them but I don't think it's the first die I'd reach for. Saying that can I pass my opportunity of being drawn for the slimline dies to someone that really loves them and would use them more often than I would, as I'm not using the first shadow box dies like I use to, it's taken this post to give me a prod to remember to hike them from the storage box!

Good Morning Sue. I was never a big lover of the shadow boxes... Even though they are and make a lovely card. But it's the first time I have seen one on a slimline card ... And I like it. Loving your idea with this one especially when you say about cutting sections away, I can see them re-arranged in different ways or just using smaller pieces to turn into a smaller square card, lots of options, great design.

What an lovely die. A brilliant idea to leave off any piercing or stitching on the edges, leave them plain for much more versatility in snipping them. Genius. A reminder to self… dig out your other shadow box dies and use them!!
