Flying By To Say Hello

Hello there my crafty friends!  I cut a multi-layered frame out of white card using the Clipped Corner Rectangles.  I added mounting foam to the back of the frame, then cut a bunch of the greenery from the Toucan die set out of various shades of green card.  I added the leafy fronds to the mounting foam, hanging down from the edge of the frame into the card.  I added three of the flowers from the Hummingbird die set in yellow, pink and blue.  I cut the Toucan three times; once out of orange, yellow and black.  I used the yellow die cut as the base, the cut the away beak from the orange die cut and glued it onto the yellow one.  I cut just the body from the black die cut, removing the area around the face, then glued it onto the yellow base.  I used a marker to add the eye and the spot on the beak.  I seated the toucan on a leafy sprig coming out from the right side of the card.  I used the Flying By To Say Hello sentiment which I cut from black card.  I glued the two pieces inside the frame to the left of the toucan.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x
