Christmas Greetings

Hello crafters!  I used the Falling Snow embossing folder to emboss a piece of white card as the background for today's card.  Next I cut the Scalloped Poinsettia border in white using just the lattice part of the die with the looped edging.  I cut the Christmas Rose Panel in white.  I used markers to colour the twigs, leaves and flowers.  I added a white vellum backing to the panel, then layered the frames using both of them from the Christmas Rose Panel.   I cut the Christmas Greeting out of antique gold card then added it to the shadow backing piece cut in white.  I attached it below the panel with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. Thank you.
My first thought was I'm looking through a window if that makes any sense? You've given us such a pretty start to the week, nothing like a smile to start the day. Falling snow along with the Nordic Tile are such versatile folders and I use this one all through the year. This certainly is a sample I'll return to later.
Doing better thanks Trish just glad to be out of hospital. Thinking of you June and Heather. Anyone heard from Muriel?
Love to all. Please stay healthy xxx

Steph. Thanks for asking. I didn;t know you had been in the hospital (or my brain doesn't let me remember things well) I haven't lived in my home for 6 Months and I'm reconciled to the fact that Belmont is now my home. Love to you.

Good Morning Sue. A beautiful card today. And very different from the traditional colours. But I still love it. It has a freshness look/feel to it and I Iove the look of the snow on the embossing folder. I also think with different sentiments it could be used for other occasions. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds

Hi Sue, I love everything about this soft and gentle card. Hellebores are a favourite of mine and it is always exciting when you see the first stems pushing their way through and then producing their beautiful delicate flowers.

The first word that came to my mind when I first saw this card, it was HOPE. Maybe because it reminds me of spring. This card has unusual colors for Christmas time, but the card looks fresh and delicate, and this lovely design works beautifully for many occasions with different sentiments.

Hugs from Toronto to you all.
Stay safe and healthy.
