Just Because

Hello crafters!  I made this quick card to show you that you can do some other things with the floral panel sets.  I cut the foliage panel from the Moonflower Floral Panel die set a couple of times in white.  I nipped away the leaves from the frame (easily done) and used them inside of an ival frame.  I decided to leave the ends of the leaves unglued to add a little movement (like they are blowing in the wind).  I cut a Stitched Flag in white and used the Just Because Shadowed sentiment across it.  I cut it in black and added it to the white shadow backing then glued it onto the flag die across the lower part of the oval.  I used the French Marigold die set and made a 3D flower in white.  I glittered it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and added it to the end of the flag die with a couple of leaves from the set.  I added the oval onto a piece of pixied card which was done using the Candy Pink colour.  Pearls in the two right side corners were added as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue and all that visit. What a stunning pretty piece of inspiration. You show us a different piece of art every day of the year but I dare say there are so many more we've not seen... how do you do it, and how many a day is your goal??
Amazing absolutely amazing.
Keep well, be happy, love to all xx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, candy pink background with white and a little black, what a perfect combination of colours, your eyes are drawn to the white leaves and flower and to the sentiment (I have never done a black on white like that, I will try it), this sample looks amazing, the flower with the glitter (yes I have done this and it really is gorgeous) really does give that little bit of bling, well Sue you know I like this one, right up my street.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

A simple idea but so effective & versatile. We certainly get our money’s worth with your died. Thank you for the inspiration Sue, one I may well try. Might even use the same colour combination as I love everything about this card.

The leaf foliage is one of my favorites, and I love how it looks inside the oval frame with the pink background. Beautiful card, and once again you have taught us to think outside the box to use our dies in different ways. Thank you. Hugs.
