Tis The Season To Sparkle

Hello crafters!  I started today's card by cutting the Winter Pines out of black card with a sticky adhesive sheet added to it.  I cut five trees (two taller and three shorter), then one by one, I peeled the backing paper off the trees and coated them with Polished Silk Glitter.  I used Lilac, Canadian Blue and Lavender glitters.  I cut a piece of black card to use as the background and then used the Soft Gray Matt Chalk Polish on the round applicator and made a moon in the sky by pressing it to the card and slowly rotating it in place.  I added the trees to the bottom of the card with mounting foam.  I cut the Tis The Season To Sparkle sentiment out of Periwinkle card and glued it to the top of the card, slightly overlapping the moon.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  9"   in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue I just know this will look stunning in real life, the sparkle would be the most anyone has seen come from a glitter, the quality is second to none and it's so fine not only does it feel like silk, it lasts absolutely months and months, if you need to top up on your glitters you'd be foolish not to spend a little more to get the outcome you want.... my mum's favourite saying is one I always remember "there's nothing in cheapness) so pay a little more and you'll have perfection.
Opened my new dies yesterday and tore my fingers to shreds trying to get in. Since the cardboard inner got thicker with the beautiful inspiration ideas it's made it more difficult to open, the plastic is so sharp and not recycled anywhere and my skin is so thin due to steroids, my hands are as useful as a chocolate fireguard sometimes could the packaging not be more human/environment friendly Sue, oh, and they are stuck down so hard with tape lol I sometimes have to give up especially if my 'keeper' isn't around. Sorry for whinging its my age lol.
Love you regardless of any moaning. Have a safe and good day everyone xxx

Good Morning Sue. Ohhh my ohhh my. I L.O.V.E this card. There is that something somewhere inside that makes like ... a missed heartbeat ... when I see something that gets me ... And that's what just happened when I stepped into Particraft this morning. I don't have the polished silk glitter but I have some glitter paste ... Would that work ... I am going to try. Really beautiful card today. Thankyou Sue.
Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.

Good morning Sue
I bet this card is even more beautiful in ‘real’ life than it does on my iPad. The silk glitters are amazing and really make any card stand out.

Morning Sue - what a stunning card! I’m loving the colours - it reminds me of my trip to Finland, when the trees really seem to glow a blueish colour against the snow - love it! Colleen x

My first thought when I saw this card- A magical night in the forest.

"There is a serene and settled majesty to woodland scenery that enters into the soul and delights and elevates it, and fills it with noble inclinations." ( Washington Irving)

Hugs from Toronto to you all.
Stay safe and healthy.
