Hello there my crafty friends! I started today's card by using
Beyond Blue Pixie Sparkles all over a piece of white card. I used the
Slimline Stars Background die and cut into it once it was thoroughly dry. Next I cut the
Slimline Stars Rectangle Trio Aperture in white and added mounting foam to the back of it to raise it. I added it over the
Star Background and trimmed away the excess. I added a white backing card with a
sticky adhesive sheet added to it, then used
Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on the exposed adhesive of the stars. I used the
Slimline Essential Frames and added a thin frame cut from the Pixie Sparkled card. Using the
Build A Snowman die set, I cut the signpost and stamped it with Merry Christmas and added gloves and a shovel to the top aperture. I assembled the snowman with a hat, scarf and buttons and added him to the bottom aperture. I cut the
Happy Holly Days sentiment in black and glued it to the centre aperture. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 4 3/4" x 9 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

As our Tuesday begins in the UK its closer to the festive season elsewhere in the world so what could be cuter than a snowman digging his way out of a frame. I treated myself to this earlier this year knowing I'd be asked for a lot of children's cards from my regular customer so I wanted to add to their festive fun by building a snowman also using the other cute animals you have provided us with, whether I'll be in the festive mood or not I don't know but at least I have the inspiration and wonderful dies ready should I feel I can concentrate enough to do them justice. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh this is so gorgeous and cute, love the slimline dies and have the whole set now, but I also love these little sets with all the pieces in, especially this snow one, even down to the snow shovel and red gloves, brilliant. I know I have this set too. Now I know what I can do today.
