Hello crafters! How about this soft pastel make for today's offering. I started by cutting the
Cut Corner Squares out of both white and
Arctic Blue card. I added the frames onto another piece of white card and used mounting foam to stairstep the frames upward from the centre. Next I cut the
Gerbera Stained Glass Circle out of white card. I glued a piece of white vellum to the back of it, then turned it over to colour the image from the reverse side. I used
Spun Sugar, Fossilized Amber, Crushed Olive and Tea Dye Distress Markers to colour the image. I carefully glued the circle into the centre of the frames, making sure not to get any glue on the vellum where it would show (so just where the actual die cut is). The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, what a beautiful card this is, it makes me think of Spring as I am typing this with the light on whilst the wind and rain is lashing down outside. Love the pastel colours and the layered frames.
Just like Pat L I missed commenting yesterday as I too had my Covid booster and flu jabs on Thursday and yesterday I was good for nothing but it was worth it as it is so much better than the alternatives. Feeling much better today and I love everything about yesterday's gorgeous card.

This is so pretty in these soft colors. I just got the sunflower but I want all of this collection. I always enjoy the flowers in squares from a few years ago and these will be similar but fresh. I love using glitter and paper piecing with them.
