Hello there my crafty friends! I just love this Rhino card! I know that rhinos aren't the cutest animals but there is something about them! LOL I started by tapping the
Animal Prints stencil to a piece of milk card. I used Spiced Marmalade through the mask to cover the area of larger spots. Next I used
Gathered Twigs in a swatch diagonally through the centre. I removed the mask and heat set the ink. Next I stamped the
Rhino stamp and cut it out with the matching
Rhino die. I coloured it with
Distress markers (Tea Dye, Rusty Hinge, Weathered Wood and Antique Linen). I added mounting foam to the back of the die and attached a piece of vellum to the back so the stencil pattern would show through softly. I attached the rhino to the background with foam. The card was completed with milk mats and layers. The finished dimension are 8" x 8" in size. All for now. Sue x

I too think the Rhino has just a little something that cannot be ignored. On one of my trips to South Africa on a visit to the Kruger National Park I actually got up close to a Rhino (Quite a story) I just love the way you have coloured him/her and the soulful eyes could tell a story. Everything you have done is just perfect.

Clever of you to use two different masks on your design giving a great effect. The colors you used are spot on.
