Hello crafters! I think it is finally time for a sweet beach themed card. I started this card by creating the background. I used
Lime Sherbert and Turquoise Cascade Pearlescent Watercolour inks all over a piece of white card. I spritzed it with water then allowed it to dry thoroughly. I cut the
Slimline Decorative Stitched Rectangle Trio Aperture out of white card and added mounting foam to the back. I added it to the watercoloured background. I cut the Adirondack chair out of white card from the
On The Beach set. I glued it to the aperture on the right, then cut thee sign and seagulls and glued them in the left aperture. From the
Island Paradise set, I cut the palm tree out of tan card and added the green leaves over it then added it with foam to the left side of the aperture. I cut the umbrella and hibiscus and glued them to the right side of the aperture. The
So Sweet Of You sentiment was cut in white and added to the middle opening. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 5 1/4" x 9 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue. What a lovely summer sample reminds me of wonderful holidays abroad being spoilt by family loving Greek hosts. I know travelling is widely missed but my thought is still health and life before travel abroad because let's face it you need both to get there and we may not have guaranteed sun here but the country has its stunning places of beauty. Patience is a virtue. Debbie downer over and out lol

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, firstly sorry I have not commented for a couple of days, our internet had broken and we had to hve a new hub fitted, it is only when something like this happen that you realise how much you rely on technology nowadays.
Todays sample is gorgeous, certainly brightens up our days to think of sunshine, sunny beaches and ice cream sundaes, yes I like this very much.

A beautiful card today (and every day) I just got taken back to my Snowbird days when I lived in Canada and spent the winters in Florida Such happy days . We were only a few miles from Jensen beach and your card today sent me right back there.

Oh I dream of lovely summer days while the wind blasts us off the snow 50kms away. I think we have had more real winter already this year than we normally get all year !!
