Hi there my crafty friends! We are starting out day two with the lovely Layered Snowflake Background die set. There are two dies in this set, one is the snowflake itself with lovely stitched detail around the edges and the other die is the background which also has beaustil stitched swirly detail to it as well as a small cut out area to show off the snowflake. It is really easy to make batch cards with a die set like this as it does all the work for you! Morning on day 2 of the festive season lol. I had to expand the picture of this die as I wasn't sure if I needed a new prescription of reading glasses then I noticed the faint pattern that you mentioned on the 2nd die, it's very unusual but yet again really pretty. You gave us cuties last year and they were beyond adorable so I'm hoping you will give us something to make the children or young at heart smile or chuckle. Looking forward to seeing what you have up you're sleeve at midday until then be happy xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, gosh I am liking this die set and the sample today. When I first looked at it, I thought I wonder how Sue has done those stitched/pricked swirls all around the background, then of course I scrolled down and saw the picture of the die on the packet and realised it is part of the die set itself, I bet it is not easy to draw that in a design. I also like the way you have cut the middle die up and cut it around and formed part of the frame, looks very effective. Another winner for you Sue.
