Hi bloggers! Another slimline card for today's offering. I started this card by creating a bright background piece which I die cut into with the Slimline Decorative Rectangle Aperture Trio. I used the Golden Sunrise and Glacier Lemon Pearlescent Watercolour inks randomly all over a piece of card. Next I used the Slimline Decorative Squared Rectangles and cut a frame that I added with foam mounting tape. I attached a white backing behind the aperture trios. Using some of the leftover watercoloured card, I cut the Just Because sentiment out of it and glued it the the centre aperture. Using the Spring Daffodils and Apple Blossom Flower dies, I cut some from both sets out of white card. I added them to the two remaining apertures. I added some dries clear glue to the flowers and then sprinkled them with Iced Snow for a bit of bling, tapping off the excess. I completed the card with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 4 3/4" x 9" in size.
Thank you for all your lovely birthday wishes yesterday. I had the best birthday ever! My guy surprised me and arranged for my daughter and her best friend (who is like another daughter to me!) to surprise me and show up for my birthday! I haven't seen her in ages because of the pandemic so I was over the moon! We had a fabulous day together, it was just perfect! All for now, Sue x

Today’s card is a sure fire winner in my eyes. I love slimline cards and those colours are just beautiful. At first glance I thought they might be pixie related. The more I see of the watercolour pearlescent inks, the more I am being persuaded that I want/need them x
