Good Sunday morning all! Happy Father's Day too! I actually have a card sample that I did using the Slimline collection in January to share with you today. I started by cutting the
Slimline Decorative Squared Rectangles in white and adding a black backing to it. I cut a white backing using the
Slimline Stitched Rectangle Frames. I used the three oval fallaway pieces from the
Decorative Stitched Oval Trio Aperture set and added them with foam. I cut the Best Dad sentiment from the
In The Tool Box set and glued it to the centre oval. I cut all the tools from the same set and arranged them in two piles and glued them to the other two ovals. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 4 1/2" x 9" in size. All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue. I think a lot of us are quite close in age give or take a few years, most of us spend our days doing craft, watching craft and best of all buying craft rather than doing the 9-5 or shift work (that was close stupid predictive text lol) so I'm thinking of you and the rest of our blog family that are without our dad today, we miss them dearly.
The more you show samples using your slimline dies the more I'd really love some and maybe if I take up market again I'll treat myself until then I'll keep admiring your beautiful inspiration.

Good Morning Sue. What a fabulous card this morning ... all geared up for dad's day ... if my dad would have been here today ... He would have loved this ... firstly he used to have all these tools (in real time) he used to make things for us. And second because it would have been made by his daughter just for him.
