Wishing You Well

Good Sunday morning all!  I thought I would wake you up with this ultra bright card! LOL  I used Mango Blaze, Golden Mint and Sun Yellow Pixie Powders on a piece of white card.  I used the cutting die from the Claire die set and cut an aperture in the centre.  I used the Quilted Pillow 3D embossing folder to add texture to the background.  I cut a thin black frame using the outer most dies from the Claire set and glued it around the edge of the aperture.  I cut the Claire die in black and added a white backing to it, then recessed it down into the aperture opening.  I cut the centre from the Eliza die in white and backed it in black and glued it to the centre.  The Wishing You Well sentiment was cut out of a leftover piece of the pixie powder card, then shadowed with a black die cut and glued to the centre of the card.  I added two black strips to the edges for balance.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

Ok ok I'm awake Sue lol, up since 5am. It's lovely, if the background was a little lighter it'd remind me of the Florida keylime pie I couldn't get enough of back in 1989 lol. Apart from a citrus wake up call this is a pretty Sunday sample.

Hi Sue, I snuck a look at this on my phone earlier and really felt as though I had been slapped to wake me up lol. Gorgeous coloured background and although there is more black than I would be happy using it suits this card brilliantly.
