Especially For You

Hi bloggers!  Today's card is a really simple one that uses just two different dies.  I started with a piece of antique gold card as my background.  I cut the Star Flower Flourish die four times.  I crisscrossed two of them and then the other two, then added them all together to form a pretty circular pattern.  I added some glue to the very centre, then sprinkled it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I added flatback white pearls to all the swirly areas and in the four corners.  I cut two of the Especially For You sentiment in black and stacked them, then glued them into the upper corner.  I added the background to a larger piece of white card and ran double sided tape around the edge, then glittered it as well.  The card was completed with antique gold, white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

This is such a different design that we're use to seeing, I really wish I had the artistic capacity to look at dies as you and other crafters do. My brain seems blinkered until I see a design either here or on the fb group I enjoy then it's a case of 'why couldn't I think of that'
Ahh, now I get my yearly school reports - Must try harder lol.

Should any of our blog family and friends be thinking of running riot just be careful, everyone here is too precious and precious to someone.

Hello Sue and all
Oh Wow!! I have been missing in action for a few days - specialists appointments and tests but all done now and what a return! I have been waiting for this one since the April release and will have to see about a couple of these dies. It is just so hard to get them at the moment, I am still waiting for some from during the release, I understand why but it is one of those things that makes us appreciate the “old” world.
Maybe I will just have to use my imagination with some I already have lol !
Hugs

Hi Sue. What a very interesting design and as this is the die that I won from the launch there is no excuse for me not to have a play and see what I can come up with!

Hi Sue, a beautiful card and so clever to create a spiral out of a basically straight die. Love the touches of sparkle and all the pearls just not sure about using black for the sentiment but that is a personal opinion and I am sure that it suits many others.

Such a clever way you used your Star Flower Flourish die to create a completely different design. And you only had to cut the flourish four times to do it. :>) I like how you got a secondary design around the star flower by the way you overlapped the four complete flourishes. I'm a big fan of white and gold. Well done. Thanks for the inspiration. Hugs
