Beautiful Friend

Hi bloggers!  I'd like to share this card using the Golden Girl from the Perfect Portrait Collection.  I started by cutting the Golden Girl die into a  piece of coconut white card.  I used Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink with a smoothie and blended it all around the outside edge of the image and on to the hair, fading it as I moved outward.  I used Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink and the tip of the smoothie to colour the vines.   I backed it with a piece of white card.  Using the Background Rectangles, I added a white frame around it.  I cut the image again and inked just the leaves with Spiced Marmalade Distress ink.  I used Cosmic Lacquer on the leaves and allowed them to dry well.  I nipped them out of the design and glued them on top of the leaves in the original.  I used a gold paint pen and spattered it across the card and leaves.  Using the sentiment from the Proud Peacock die set, I cut it in antique gold card and glued it to the upper corner of the design.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x 
8 1/2" in size.  All for now. Sue x
