Hi bloggers! I thought I would share one of the Quilt cards from the September release. I started by cutting the Cube Quilt out of coconut white card. I attached it to a piece of sticky adhesive sheet that was attached to another piece of white card. Next I cut the Cube Quilt three more times, out of aqua card, ocean card and teal card. I kept all the fall away pieces and paper pieced them back into the design, which gives it a dimensional look. I made a multi layered frame using the Double Stitched Squares and used a teal frame on the bottom and a wider white frame on top. I added it with foam over the Cube Quilt. I cut the You Are The Best sentiment in teal and nipped it apart and placed it along a white Pierced Flag. I inserted the end under the edge of the frame. Using the Cosmos Flower set, I made three white flowers using just the outline shapes from the set. I mounted them in opposite corners and used the leaves from the set to accent them. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

I couldn't 'see' how these worked when the pre-launch emails came through but to say the samples and fb buddies cards blow my mind is an under statement, everyone that shares their work make the most gorgeous quilt like patterns. Love this die as it is universal. Just by changing the colours it is a fab base for a card for anyone. Really like the colours you have used

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I am so pleased you put this sample on today, I bought all 3 of the dies in the set and am over the moon with them, I have made 3 of these samples, and by cutting it out 3 times I was able to paper pierce them into place, love doing this. thank you Sue. Are there any more like this coming along.

Hi Sue. WOW, WOW, WOW !!! Today's card is absolutely gorgeous !!! I really love your new Quilting dies and I think the "Cubes" die set is just fabulous. So perfect for a mans card. I love, love, love the Cosmos Flower dies and managed to get them for my Birthday along with some of your other beautiful die sets to so I am one very "Happy Bunny" at the moment. I am so lucky. I really love the colours you have used with the "Cubes" die. Lovely large pieces for paper piecing to. The Quilting dies are still on my wish list. Hopefully not for to long though.
