May Your Christmas Sparkle

Hello crafters!  I started with a piece of milk card and cut the centre die from the Marilynne set out of it randomly all over.  Next I used a piece of Khaki card and Spearmint, Olive Green and Emerald Green Pixie powders all over it.  I allowed it to dry well, then mounted it behind the background to show through the die cut areas.  Next I used the outline for the Triple Layered Poinsettias and cut several of them.  I added a solid backing that was cut with a sticky adhesive sheet attached.  I put the flowers together, then coated the exposed adhesive with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz then assembled them.  I attached them in the lower corner, then added Evergreen Branches cut out of a leftover piece of the pixie powdered background as well as some leaves from the set cut out of milk card.  I cut the May Your Christmas Sparkle sentiment out of gold mirror card several times and glued it in the upper corner.  Milk card mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue
Well this is a winner in every sense. What a beauty. This is such a gorgeous card. Those Pixie Powders are so stunning and I bet the colours are even more beautiful ‘in the flesh’!
Congratulations on the huge success of your shows - a sell out - mind you that’s hardly a surprise is it?! It is such a joy watching you. Wonder if the re stock will last. I won’t be able to catch your last show as I am currently staying at a friends until next Wednesday but I am recording it at home so will have something to look forward to when I get back. There may also be a lack of comments until I get back so apologies in advance if that is the case x
Happy Friday everyone

Morning Sue,
After spending yesterday in hospital with my husband, things are back to normal now thank goodness and I can catch up on your shows later today. Great to see you back on our screens.
I love your background and whilst I only have 3 different colours of pixie powders, I'm going to give it a try. The poinsettias are lovely and I've used them on quite a few of my cards but I haven't used glitter on them as yet. A stunning card. Hugs xx Pauline

So sorry that I missed your show as I see from these comments that you had a sell out. Congratulations I rarely look at C&C but I'll have to correct that.
As for today's offering, I absolutely love it and hope to have another attempt at Pixie Powder back grounds. Everything about the card is a reflection of your expertise and you are an inspiration to so many.
Have a great day.

Hi Sue, a great card and I love the colours of the pixie powdered background; Marilynne shows it off beautifully. The sparkled poinsettias are gorgeous as usual and using some pixied card for the Evergreen Branches really brings it all together. Lovely.
