Hi bloggers! I started this card by embossing a piece of
coconut white card that I attached some
vellum to in order to give it a softer look. I used the
Heart Scrolls embossing folder and extended the pattern. Next I inked the
Summer Rose frame die with
Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade and Crushed Olive Distress Oxides and letterpressed it to transfer the colour into the debossed areas in the die. I did this twice and nipped away the larger corners, added mounting foam and attached them in opposite corners. Next I cut the
Poppy die in white and nipped in to it to create a more square design and attached it in the centre of the card. I cut the centre from the
Sophia die and added a
vellum backing and layered it on top. The sentiment was cut from the
Summer Rose Frame die and inked with
Picked Raspberry and glued into the centre. White on white mats and layers were used to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x
