Joy Holly Wreath

Hi bloggers!  Use a little red and green glitter kiss and you can bring this wreath to life, even if it is an industrial chic one! LOL

The finished dimensions are 8 1/4" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue. From 2 'Sue Wilson' samples yesterday, to the dies that gobsmacked the nation lol how come, giving the fact that we know you have that touch of grunge in your blood we never expected cogs and wheels etc but who would guess those tiny elements were included in this set of dies, you have to look really hard. I love it, I've never seen glitter kiss in real life, it must be an amazing product to use and if it brings my work to life then I need all the help I can get to resuscitate my cards, unfortunately the list of dies and cardstock I need to forfill this order adds up to more than yesterday's grocery bill, oh well I'll get round it some way lol. Off to watch you put this delightful sample together and hope your day is a good one xxx

Gorgeous card and cleverly different.

Morning Sue,
I love the simplicity of this wreath and as Steph has said, you really do have to look closely to see the cogs and furthermore, would probably have to point them out to most men. I do like your 'chic grunge' dies.
A lovely card. Hugs xx Pauline in S.A.

Hello Sue a beautiful festive card in traditional colours. Oh but look closer and you will see a touch of steampunk. Off to watch the video, enjoy your weekend xx

That was fun!

What a happy card!! I like how it’s SO VERY traditional, except for the gear berries.

Today I took the ingredients for Thanksgiving cards to the house of a family with 10 kids. The first four have left home, and the fifth seems to be almost fledged. I had colored paper with Cosmic Shimmer gilding polish, or Distress inks, or Dylusions acrylic paints, trying some of the techniques for using stamps and stencils and household items like bubble wrap and sponges and those little felt sliders you put under furniture legs to make them easier to move without scratching the floor. After I had hung the card stock overnight to dry, and flattened it under my Platinum sitting on its base plate over the stack of card stock, I die cut leaves and leaf skeletons from your set. They were gorgeous! I had diecut grateful and thankful from your friendship words set, and I brought some clarity word stamps.. Four of the youngest five made cards, The best one was by the brother who has Down Syndrome. He selected the sentiment he wanted, peeled it off the backing and put it in place on his card. I never would have thought of that! I had forgotten to bring any mounts, so we used my cell phone and the lid of my stamp pad. They are such serious kids, hardly saying a word.

Best to all,

Donita

Hello Sue,

Who would have ever thought that Industrial Chic could be described as elegant? But that what you have done Sue with a classic design that is so crisp and bright and elegant made even better when touched with the lovely Glitter Kiss.

What a lovely thing to do Donita, sharing a love of crafting and Thanksgiving with a large family. I'm sure they had a wonderful time and enjoyed your gift of "Sharing."

Hope that everyone enjoys their weekend.

Good Morning Sue. I love this card ...and who would think it was industrial chic at first glance..... I bet no one. It is lovely it reminds me of "olde worlde" pictures of days gone past with a modern twist that only you could recreate. I see you have a new studio too Sue. Or have you just had a change around. Lovely sample Thankyou Sue. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

Hi Sue, a very clever wreath and initially one would not immediately think of steam punk as this is most definitely on the chic side of industrial chic which is probably why I like it. Thanks for the usual clear video but I have to say that your craft room/studio looks awfully bare without the baubles :-)

Donita - what a kind and generous thing to do and I hope you had as much fun as the children.
Steph - you really would love the Glitter Kiss, it is worth saving up for.

Hello Sue and all
Loved this carted on the release and look forward to the video. Glitter kiss is turning into one of those can’t do without things for Christmas, it is amazing how a piece of basic card can be transformed to something special for Christmas cards. I really love your industrial chic, so individual and a bit different to everything else out there- which is why we use your dies.

Good morning Sue.
A day late again but it didn't come through until the early hours. I have so much trouble signing in that I may have to stop commenting at all as it's driving me nuts.
However, having got my rant out of the way let me say that your card is fantastic and the video even better as I could not see the cogs until they were shown 'up front'
Donita, thank you for sharing your truly Thanksgiving story,it warmed my heart.
All for now.
