Congrats

Hi there my crafty friends!  I started today's card by cutting the Ava die in white and adding it to a piece of white card cut out using the Double Stitched Rectangles.  I added a Cobalt blue mat with the B set.  I cut the Nina die in Cobalt blue and added a white backing then cut the centre out of it.  I added it with foam to the centre of the card then cut the Congrats out of both blue and white card and glued it to a Stitched Flag that I inserted through the centre opening in the Nina die.  I used the Petite Dianthus set to make a flower and inked the edges with Faded Jeans ink and glittered it with Iced Snow.  I seated it on a white satin ribbon bow and added leaves and swirls as accents to it.  I cut a second mat set using larger sizes of the Double Stitched Rectangles and added it behind the focal element, then finished with my usual pierced mats and layers in blue and white.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Good Morning Sue. Now this is blue and white. Just my favourite things to cheer me up...... blue white and lacy. It's a beautiful card Sue. And would be just as good with different sentiments.
I am still feeling a little unwell and not in the mood for crafting at the moment..... although I do have quite a lot to get on with.... maybe tomorrow. Thankyou Sue. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

Hi Sue, what a stunning card and the shadow work on the Congrats, is perfect. I get the beginnings of my attempts to look reasonable, then it just goes a little bit haywire. Still, I will persevere. That cobalt and white really work. Fabulous.

Geat combination of your dies. I especially like your Ava and Nina dies. As I was reading your instructions for today's card, thoughts of my early card making trials and tribulations of trying to figure out what you were meaning about the construction of you designs came to mind. Glad to say, you have taught me well. And I can just look now at your photos of your cards to know what steps you did, for the most part, to get the lovely designs you share.

A really striking card today. The cobalt blue contrasts so well with the white & really sets off the swirls of the die. A beautiful combination. Thank you Sue.
Julia is really showing the versatility of your Celtic dies today.

Good evening Sue. Bloglovin didn't appear on my inbox today so I had to look for it. However, I found it and it was well worth the search. I do really love your blue and white combinations the cobalt is especially gorgeous although I like them all. I am reminded of taking a tour of the Wedgewood factory in the early 70's which was a memorable experience.
Thank you for sharing with us on a daily basis.

Whooops, somehow a few days got away from me. Nina is one of my favorites, and she apparently has wide appeal. She could win prom queen runner up. And thanks to all who mentioned Ava in the background, posing as wallpaper. She’s gorgeous too.
I’m surprised that the color changes on the flower. It must be because the Distress Ink doesn’t exactly match that vibrant card stock.
Such a pretty card, laden with ideas we can use.

Best,
Donita
