Pam it must have been devastating for your poor Gran , no one wants to lose their child
Thank you all for your good wishes and concern for Helen and Andrew, we went to the home to break the sad news to Helens Mum , Helen bless her didn't know if to laugh or cry when her Mum said " well we didn't see much of him anyway did we ?" the carer said Dave was there on Friday and he stayed for just over two hours . What really surprised us all is she recognised Andrew straight away no hesitation what so ever , { Andrew has not been to visit since February and having lost so much weight we honestly thought she would not have a clue who he was } however it took her a while to realise who Helen and i were . The carers said she would be just fine and was happily eating chocolates when we said our goodbyes .
Andrew is going for his scan today a very late afternoon appointment .
