Finishing Touches

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the final blog post for the launch.  I would love to say that these are a big surprise, but there have been so many cards that have included the new Cape Daisy.  I designed these based on a real flower and I just think that they have a really unique look to them.  I love to add flowers of all shapes and sizes and these are no exception!  The Bold Scrolled Vine is perfect for adding an interesting accent to your floral elements too.  It has a lovely debossed area so it looks great letterpressed for added detail to your cards!  Last time, you know the drill, leave a comment to be included in the drawing.  I will do the drawings and announce the winners on Tuesday Sept 20th in the afternoon.  Don't forget to check back to see if your name is on the list!  I hope you have enjoyed the launch, I know I have!  All for now, Sue x

Beautiful dies Sue and the card is fab. How many more are you making for us?

Your dies just keep getting better and better. I must get them all but I’m spoilt for choice so they are all going to the top of my MOST WANTED list, although I think the Nobles are my new favourites.

Enjoyed all the cards you have made from the new collection so far and can’t wait to see more.....

Thank you, so much Sue,

Oh, I enjoyed all your cards and seeing all the new releases, thank you!
I have seen these stunning flowers in some our previous cards, as when you shown the Madeline die set, and loved them! The Cape Daysies look so beautifully with any card, they are elegant but also very modern, and have a fab 3D feel, too! Love them very much and would be a dream if I could win this die. Love very much also the Bold Scrolled Vine, this die makes amazing details for any flower but could be also used without flowers, because of it's elegance and detailed shape and debossing!

Hello Sue,
Here Here, Pam! Totally agree!
A beautiful twosome to bring down the curtain on a great Launch! It has been lovely as ever - well we are regulars for a very good reason! We love what you create both in dies and cards.
Another lovely flower , yes I spotted it a few times and your foliage dies are really close to real!
A florist friend once told me that if I were buying silk flowers to look at the foliage as if it looked authentic the flowers would too! It works!
Thank you so much Sue. I'm glad you have enjoyed it too! The feedback is lovely from everyone!
Winning a die after these few days is a bonus! It's just lovely to see them all together .
Ally Pally next! Should be fun too!
Hope everyone who goes has a great time!

Evening Sue
What a humdinger of a finale! I think this card Is absolutely striking. Love the colour. I know that darker colours are not everybody's cup of tea but I think this is divine. Thank you so much Sue for the most amazing 5 days of wonderment. You really have pulled out all the stops with this launch and I know I speak for everyone when I say that we are all beyond grateful x
Had a busy day. With Laine's visit only one sleep away I have been preparing myself. I did not realise how long it would take to hide all the family silver and nail down the valuables to prevent Laine from cleaning us out!! Lol x
I started so well even commenting at 6.30 this morning then had a couple of hours sleep. I had fully intended to comment on every post today but time just ran away and I now need to go back to 10am, 12pm and 3pm's posts. I will try and do that this evening but can't promise x
OK folks it has been a blast but I do feel a little in the dark as to what is going on with you all. Major catch up is on the cards for the next few days x
This time tomorrow Laine will be here, aaggghhhhhhh!!!!!!

Well Sue. So by the time I'm ready to start collecting the frames and tags, the Finishing Touches etc, at least CE will be stocked up again after the inevitable sell out throughout the UK.
Hopefully you will be able to take time out this evening to relax knowing just how successful the launch has been.

Your Finishing Touches always round things off so well, and these no exception. Particularly like the Scrolled Vine, touch of the sumptuous there! Crying out to be gilded, sort of rococo looking. Feeling a purchase coming on!!

Good evening lovely sue and her crafty crew!

What a fitting finale to a fantabulous launch, you have played a blinder again Sue and I don't know how you do it, you amaze me with your talent and dedication to what you do and as always we are the grateful beneficiaries.
The cape daisies are very unusual, I'm not at all green fingered and haven't heard of them but I have loved the effect they have on the finished article, providing the perfect finishing touch. This card is stunning too, I love the bold blue shade it's very striking.
I wonder if you find the launch as mentally exhausting...in a pleasant way of course, as I do....I think the fact that it has coincided with my visit to castle pixie has been a factor though. I have rushed around preparing myself in fear that I will forget something essential or miss my plane, exceed my baggage allowance, you name it, I'm worrying about it now. I'm taking a HUGE risk travelling to stay with a stranger who has very suspect habits and a questionable personality:-), but it will be a risk worth taking to meet you Sue.
Back to normality on the blog tomorrow, it will be lovely to catch up on everyone's news again.
Wishing you all a good evening and sound sleep...ill probably have a sleepless night worrying a bit more about my trip to the Unknown:-)

Love and crafty hugs

Sue you must be very proud of all the dies you have designed they are a-maz-ing. I have loved them all. Though I have not been on your blog regularly recently as my daughter has not been very good she's had a flare-up of her fibromyalgia and she's basically been bed bound and it's been very difficult as she's 16 and wants to do lots of things.

Sorry, your cards have all been gorgeous and everyone who is lucky to win one the dies I'm sure will really love it no matter what one they win.

You are so generous to us Sue.

Hugs to everyone who needs one.

I spotted the Cape Daisy a few times and have been waiting for its showcase all week, it's absolutely gorgeous. Your card is a striking colour scheme Sue. Put your feet up Sue, you have shared so much with us and given so much inspiration - thank you! Wish I was coming to Ally Pally, maybe next time.
Big hugs to my crafty friends. Laine and Yvonne - have a great time and behave yourselves!!! Lynda, thank you for your warm welcome back.
