Hi bloggers! Today's video card is sort of like a petticoat card that has been morphed into a channel card, but the results are very pretty I think. I hope you like it!

Wednesday Weekly Card Giveaway
Hello crafters! A pretty blush and milk card for the giveaway this week. I started by selecting a piece of milk card and cutting the two largest decorative dies in the Alexandra die set. I used the inside cutting edge to cut an aperture so that I could recess the pattern downward. The next layer was cut from blush card adding a bit of detail to the next layer. I went back to milk card and cut the centre design out and layer all three pieces together. I wrapped a piece of satin edged cream organza ribbon around the bottom of the card, then added a double bow to the centre. Using the Petite Peony cluster, I cut three of them out of milk card and added the matching flowers behind it cut out of blush card. I attached two of them to the sides of the focal element, and added the last one as an accent to the bow. I stamped a sentiment and tucked it under the flowers on the bow. Finally I completed the card with some flatback cream pearls and my usual matting and layering with milk and blush card. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 1/4" in size. Please leave me a comment to be entered into the drawing to win this card. The winner will be announced on Saturday's bog post. All for now, Sue x

Stamps to Die For card
Hi bloggers! Many of the dies from my range have coordinating stamps to go with them. Today's card shows off one of the stamps that has been designed to go with the Alexandra die set. Stamps provide beautiful detail to your die cuts and are a great addition to your card making too!
The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Thanks For Being My Friend
Hi bloggers! Here's a real girlie sort of card using the Hannah die set. I started by cutting the Hannah out of coconut white card. I backed it with Wisteria card using just the outer cutting edge. I used the inside oval to cut the two pieces to create a frame, then mounted foam on the back to raise it for dimension. I cut the centre of the die in white, backed it in wisteria card and recessed it into the centre of the frame. I cut one more of the centre oval in white and backed it in white as well and mounted it horizontally across the frame. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out and added it to the centre of the card. I created a 3D flower using the Orange Blossom die and sugared it with Iced Snow. I seated it on a messy bow tied out of lilac seam binding and Bakers Twine bow and added some Orange Blossom leaves around it. I made two matching stick pins and added them to the bow. I did a bit of matting and layering using the wisteria card and the Double Pierced Rectangles die sets to create a nice framed effect around the card. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

For You
Good Sunday morning all! Happy Easter as well! This is one of the demo cards from my last shows (way back in December!). I started by cutting the outer decorative die from the Alexandra set using the inner cutting edge to create a decorative aperture. I lined it with black to show through by cutting just the same cutting die and lining up the pieces. I added mounting foam to raise it for dimension. I cut the inside piece from the Alexandra die in white and backed it with blush card for the outer part of it and used black card for the very centre of it. I created a channel in the card and cut the Ornate Octagon in black and backed it with blush card. I glued that piece into the recessed channel below my focal element. I stamped my sentiment and used the centre of the Alexandra to cut it out. I inked it with Tattered Rose ink and mounted it in the centre of the card. Next I cut several of the Orange Blossom in blush and used the open petal to give them a black outline. I seated the flowers around my focal element and added some pink satin ribbon and the Orange Blossom leaves as accents. I completed the card with a white pierced mat, a thin blush and black mat and a final white mat. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 3/42 in size.
