 Happy Monday!  Happy Birthday Julia Watts and Happy Blogversary!  It is a bumper day today isn't it!  Well I won't say how old Julia Watts is today (I am sure she will be thrilled by that!) but my blog is now 6 years old!  Yes I posted my very first blog post on June 1, 2009!  Not to get too sentimental, but it is you guys that keep me blogging daily, so thank you for that!  I really appreciate all the time you take to leave me comments daily, giving me feedback and spurring me on!
Today's card features one of the Stamps to die called Butterfly Garden that matches the St. Lucia die set.  I stamped it with a clear Perfect Medium pad and heat embossed it in white embossing powder on sky blue card.  I cut it out with the matching St. Lucia die and inked it with Stormy Sky while still in the die.  I used distress markers to colour in the flowers and butterfly in the design.  I cut one of the decorative St. Lucia dies in white, nipped it in half then mounted it so it was peeking out from underneath my stamped image.  I used Cosmic Shimmer white PVA glue to dot the ends of the decorative pieces.  I cut a larger piece of coconut white card and used the Delphinus Gemini die at the bottom.  I cut out the design using only the lower cutting edge.  I matted it with Sky Blue card so it showed through the delicate cut out design and added flatback pearls to it.  . I stamped my sentient and cut it out with the oval from the Noble Rectangle die set.  I inked it lightly with Stormy Sky distress ink before removing it from the die.  I mounted it with foam and placed it on my stamped image.  I matted the entire card with a coconut white card, a thin sky blue mat and a wider white mat.  I used Cosmic Shimmer white PVA glue dots around the  inner white mat.  The finished dimensions are
 8" x  8" in size.
