Thanks For Everything

Hello there bloggers!   When I receive a new set of die prototypes, I am always eager to cut them and see how they look.  This card, however, sort of got in the way of my finishing the cutting process of all of them!  I cut the Copenhagen and Stockholm dies out of milk card then got carried away and started to put this card together before I went any further! LOL  I grabbed some black card and cut the Orion die at the bottom, using a single cutting edge.  I decided that I loved the way it looked against the milk card so I glued them together and used the two Scandinavian dies together for my focal element as they just looked so pretty together layered up.  I stamped my sentiment then covered it with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I coated it with Diamond Snow before using the smaller die in the Copenhagen set to cut it.  I cut a small black mat using the smaller die in the Stockholm die set.  A couple of small Camellia flowers scattered across added just the right touch.  I finished my quick creation with a milk pierced mat layer, a thin black mat and a final milk layer.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8" in size.

The winner of this week's Wednesday Card Giveaway is:

Lesley Thomas!!!

Congratulations!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your prize.  All for now, Sue x

Hi to Sue & all Wilsonettes, ooops didn't get to come back to comment on Sues delicious cards as hadn't recovered as well as I thought...still I'm here now...had to be well enough today though as promised Wood Green Animal Shelter in Godmanchester that we would donate & take along some much needed equipment today, hope they like them as couldn't bear the thought of these items not being put to good use, they mentioned that what they cannot use in General they are going to sell in their shop...more for the animals x

I would also like to thank you all for your hugs & well wishes on 14th May...very kind of you & much appreciated & of course I also send love and hugs to those who may also be in need of one...thinking of you Alison x x x
