You Brighten My Day

Hello and welcome back!  The last post of the day is for another mini expression.  This time we are showcasing the You Brighten My Day sentiment.  Again, another one that is just perfect for those cards we love to send and receive for no special reason, except to brighten someone's day!   You have probably noticed too, that these mini expressions work really well with the Robin Family (at least I think so!)   We are at the end of day number two and I would love to hear your thoughts on what has been showcased so far?   Do you have any favourites yet?  Are you waiting to see something you might have had a sneak peek at before the launch?  Just add your comment to the end of this post and you will be entered into the drawing to win this die.  Don't forget to make your name memorable when you leave your comments too.  You don't want to have any confusion as to whose name was drawn out!  I will be back bright and early at 6am for the start of day three!  All for now. Sue x

Hi bloggers!  We have the first of the Mini Expression being showcased on this post; So Sweet Of You.   I love that this one is for so many different occasions or even none at all!  The best cards are those that are sent for no reason, don't you think!  While the mini expressions are small in size, they are still quite nice to win too!  You just need to include your comment on this post and your name will be entered into the drawing for a chance to win it!  We have one final post today at 6pm, but don't worry, there is still lots more to show in the days to come!  I hope you will be able to see what's up next!  All for now. Cherry Blossoms

Hi there my crafty friends!   Welcome to the start of day two.  We are beginning with the new Cherry Blossom Frame.  I love this one as it has been designed in a positive / negative style.  That means that part of the design is cut out and part of it is cut in to the card.  It also leaves you with some lovely fall away branches that can be utilised for other things!  If this one is speaking your name, just pop a quick comment on this post and hope your name is the one drawn out to be the winner!  Super easy to do, what are you waiting for!  LOL  I will be back at noon for the next instalment of the launch.  All for now. Sue x

You're Never More Than A Thought Away

Hi bloggers!  The final post of the first day is dedicated to the You're Never More Than A Thought Away die set.   I can think of so many people that would love to receive a card like this, especially during these trying times!  Even though the conception of this die was started long before Covid entered our lives, it seems ever so apt now.  Shown here with a simple rectangle frame and a pixie powder background, again, just so simple.  Add a few flowers or not, whatever style you prefer, it is a lovely die to use and even more lovely to receive!  I would love to hear what you thought about day number one!  Just leave me a quick comment and get yourself entered in the drawing to win this set.   I will be back in the morning at 6am for the start of day number two and it will feature some new ideas and themes.  I hope you will be able to join us then!  All for now. Wishing You Brighter Days

Hi crafters!   Welcome back to the third post of the  launch.  We are premiering the Wishing You Brighter Days All In One during this post.   I have gone for an oval shape for this style, just to be a little different.  It is a lovely floral pattern that surrounds the sentiment.  These dies are fabulous for really quick cards.  Shown here, you can see there is an embossed background, then the die has been cut out of white card and then layered on to a pixie powdered card base.  Super simple, super quick and easy, but still striking!   I have included the Pinterest button on every post too so you can easily save any of the samples or dies on to your boards for later inspiration.   I would love to know what you think of this one, please leave your comment on this blog post if you would like to be entered into the drawing to win this die set.    We have one final post today and that will be coming your way at 6pm this evening.  All for now. Sue x

Every Day Is A New Adventure

Hi bloggers!  Moving right along with die reveal number two, we have another from the All In One collection called Every Day Is A New Adventure.  I love this one as it really sums up everything this year, doesn't it!  It can be used in so many different contexts too!  Show here, you can see how easy it is to layer up some of the elements within the design to add more detail and interest.  There are two dies in this set, the main image and a backing die that has a shadow.  You can easily use the backing die to add colour to your background.  If this die set is one that really speaks to you, then don't forget to leave a comment on this post.  Please remember to sign your blog post in some way that lets everyone know it is you.  I will be back with post number three at 3pm today.  It would be lovely to see you are able to pop back by the blog then!  All for now, Sue x

The More Candles, The Bigger The Wish

Hello fellow bloggers!  Welcome to the Sept. 2020 die release blog launch!  We have 26 lovely dies to share with you this week, some are continuations of existing collections and some are completely new ideas and themes.  I hope that there will be something for everyone (as they say) and you will enjoy the week's worth of reveals.  As always, we are giving away one set of each of the dies to a lucky winner.  In order to be entered into the drawing to win any of the 26 dies, you just need to leave a comment on that particular die's post.  Feel free to leave one comment on every single one of the dies, but please no multiple comments on the same die post.  I also ask that you make sure that you name is memorable in some way as there may be others with the same name as you and I only have one set of dies to give away.  Add in an alias like Cathy the crazy cat lady or add the name of the city where you live like Elaine in East London.  Please at least add your surname initial.  I will announce the winners here on the blog on Oct. 4th, so please remember to check back to claim your winning die.

We are starting out the blog launch with some new additions to the ever popular All In One Collection.  These dies are fabulous for making a quick card as they do all the work for you.  This lovely Birthday themed All In One is called The More Candles, The Bigger The Wish.  If you like this one, it is very easy, just leave a comment on this post.  The next post will be at 12 noon today.  I hope to see you back here then!  All for now, Sue x

Hello Baby

Hello crafters!  Here's a really precious baby card for you!  I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card with the Lavish Diamonds embossing folder for so,e light texture in the background.  Next I used the Double Stitched Squares and cut five small frames out of some decorative card in my craft stash.  (I think I have been holding on to it just for a baby card!)  I added all the frames in a diamond orientation to the background.  I selected coordinating coloured card for each of the frames and cut out animals from both the Zoo Animal die set and the Farm Animal set.  I added the animals with a bit of foam so they fill up the frame but also slightly hang over it.  I used the sentiments form the Newborn Sentiment die set and added Hello Baby to the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  8" in size.

Just a quick note to let you know that I will be launching the Sept 2020 die release on the blog starting tomorrow morning!  Please join me here at 6am for the start of the launch! All for now. Sue x

Thinking Of You

Hi bloggers!  I am still struggling a bit with this new Blogger and finally gave up trying to move my text to the top line and stagger my pics like I prefer to do, it just wasn't behaving!  I am determined to keep at it, but I do think I have a few bald spots from pulling my hair out! Rant over and onto the card!  I started with the Martha Background and cut it in white and black.  I used the black as an offset shadow behind then added a Ruby Red backing to it.  Using the Double Stitched Rectangles, I cut a multi-layered frame with a wider white frame on the bottom and a thinner black frame added on top.  I added it over the background with foam.  Next I cut the Joanie die, also in white and black and added a red backing to it too.  I stamped my sentiment and cut a small circular frame using the Double Stitched Circles.  I added it over the sentiment with foam, then trimmed away the excess card.  I added it to the centre of the Joanie die with foam.  I cut two small red flowers from the Blossom Patch die set and glued them to the circular frame.  The card was completed with white, black and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Sending Love & Hugs

Hello there my crafty friends!  Today's card started with another pick out of my Pixie Powder crafty stash!  The Pixie Powdered sheet used Plum Twist and Midnight Blue Pixie Powders.  I also decided to use one of the Gemini dies called Perseus.  I cut the decorative die from the Perseus set vertically down the left side of the card so it cut into the card.  I cut another one of the Perseus die out of black card and offset it behind as a shadow.  I backed the piece with white card.  Next I cut several of the Cosmos Flowers out of a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet attached.  I peeled the backing off of the flowers and coated all of them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I assembled the three flowers then added them to the lower corner of the card.  I used Trailing Ivy and Lace Edged Leaves cut in white as accents around the flowers.  In the upper corner, I used the Sending Love & Hugs sentiment cut in white with a black shadow behind.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  8" in size.  All for now. Sue x
