All The Best

Hello bloggers!  I started by cutting the Basketweave die in white and adding an Arctic Blue backing card to it.  I cut it into three strips and added mounting foam to each of them.  I added the three strips to another piece of white card.  Next I cut the Vivian die in white and added an Arctic Blue backing to it.  I used the largest cut die and cut it in Blue bell card and seated the smaller die on it with foam.  I layered up thee smaller die in the set in white on white  as a platform for the sentiment.  I cut the All The Best sentiment in Bluebell card and added it to a white shadow ad attached it to the centre of the card with foam.  I used the Petite Forget Me Nots to add small blue flowers around the sentiment.  White and Bluebell mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  7" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Heartfelt Thanks

Hi bloggers!  I was supposed to be doing shows on Create and Craft today, but I caught a nasty cold that just isn't letting go of me.  I am feeling a bit better but my voice is  not quite back and I still have quite a bit of congestion too.  So I have asked Julia is she will cover my shows for me today so I know you will be in good hands with her!  Here is one of the samples made with the Alice die that is on the shows.  I started with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet and I cut the Alice die in white and added it to it and trimmed  around the edge to be even.  Next I cut the Alice die in Arctic Blue, Sky Blue and Bluebell card.  I used the fall away pieces from all the colours to fill in the grid.  I added mounting foam to the back and added it to a larger piece of white card.  I used double sided tape around the edge and added Iced Snow to the tape for a frosty edge.  I cut the Camilla die in white and added it to the centre of the card.  I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with the circle in the centre of Camilla.  I added two small flowers in blue made from the Bitty Blossoms.  White and Bluebell mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x
6 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Thinking Of You

Good Sunday morning all!  I have dipped back into the October release for today's card.  I selected a palette of black, white and powder pink for it.  I cut the Abigail die out of black card.  I cut it into four pieces and added each of the corners to a larger piece Powder pink for the base.  I cut it again out of black, but just added it to a powder pink base this time, then added it in a diamond orientation to the middle of the card.  I cut the Lottie die in white and layered it in the centre.  I used the centre of the Eliza die in white as the base for my sentiment.  I cut Thinking of you out of black and pink and used the black as a shadow then glued it in the centre of the card.  I added some small flowers from the Chloe die as accents.  I completed the card with white, black and powder pink mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

You're Special To Me

Hello all!  Today's card is all about the Lesley die!  I started with a piece of Old Rose card and cut the outer die from the Lesley set into it.  I backed it with white card.  I used the Double Stitched Squares to add a thin frame out of white card around it.  I used the Lesley outer die again and cut it into white card.  I backed it with white card and then used the inside cutting shape to cut an aperture in it.  I added mounting foam to the back to raise it.  I cut the centre design intro a piece of Old Rose card and backed it with Old Rose card as well.  I added the aperture over it and then seated it in a diamond orientation over the background.  I stamped my sentiment then added a circular white frame over it cut from the Double Stitched Circles.  I added it to the centre of the card.  The card was completed with white and Old Rose card mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  6 3/4" in size.

To answer yesterday's question, this might seem a bit odd, but the only continent that I haven't stepped foot on yet is Antarctica so that is where I would like to go (in their "summer" such as it is!) LOL  All for now,. Sue x

Belated Birthday Wishes

Hello crafters!  Today's card was started with a piece of coconut white card and embossed with the Brambled Rose embossing folder.  I added a piece of white card to the bottom of it that I had scored thin lines on with my Scor Pal.  I cut the Matilda die in Soft Salmon as the top layer, Coral card as the middle layer and white as the base and added it across the background join line.  I used the Jocelyn die as my focal element and cut it in white.  I used Soft Salmon card to back it and added a thin frame cut out of Coral card.  I made two scrunched flowers using the Petite Forget Me Not flowers and added them with white leaves.   I used the Belated Birthday Wishes on the bottom of the card, cut out of Soft Salmon card with a coral card shadow.  The card was completed with white, coral and soft salmon mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4" in size.

I think it is time for another question!  If you won a trip and had the choice of going anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you want to go and why?  I can't wait to see what you say!  All for now, Sue x

Just Because

Hello there my crafty friends!  Here's a pretty card from the October release.  I started with a piece of coconut white card and used the Abigail die decorative cutting die to cut into the card on both the left and right sides of the card.  there was a bit of overcut in the very centre, but it doesn't show when you are done.   I cut the Abigail die again out of white and added a Lilac card backing to it.  I added it with foam to the centre of the card in a diamond orientation.  I cut the centre of the die in white, added a lilac card backing and added it with foam to the centre.  I used the Just Because Shadowed sentiment cut in white then shadowed in white and another thin black shadow.  I made three white dimensional flowers using the Layered Carnation die set.  I glittered them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and seated the, around the focal element with white leaves.  I cut a larger piece of card and edged it with double sided tape, then used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to add a shimmery edge.    The card was completed with white, lilac and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  10 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x
