Love

Hello bloggers!  I started this sparkly creation by cutting the Heart Background in white.  I glued a piece of clear acetate to the back of it.  I decided to use an assortment of jewel tone glitters and I started with the darkest colour first and worked towards the lighter colours.  I added  glue randomly to the acetate where I wanted the glitters, then sprinkled them on, and tapped off the excess.  I worked through all the hearts, covering them with glitter from the back of the background.  I set it aside to dry overnight.  I cut the Love die in white and used the outer die to create a border around it.  I littered all he letters in red, then glued them back into the Love word and added it with mounting foam across the middle of the background.  I used the Postage Stamp Rectangle and created a white frame.  I added it with mounting foam over the background.  The card was completed with whit mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue

A gorgeous sparkly heart filled card to cheer up this miserable gloomy day. It’s very contemporary and would be a great Valentine’s Day card. I think I need to get some acetate and glitters out…

Hi Sue and all.
I bet this is absolutely stunning to look at. We put so much into our cards but they are never seen at their best when we take photos, such a shame but at least us crafters know the real beauty that comes with your samples. You must have been thrilled to open your blog again, that last day was SO sad after all you did to build up the numbers, anyway you're back and we can't see how much more you have to share with us real Wilsonettes. A very different card to celebrate Valentines and maybe even a gift tag to match, both beautiful and very modern.
Hope life is kind to all that pop by today xx
