Congratulations On Your New Home

Hello crafters!  For today's card, I decided to do something a bit different and I cut the Window die twice out of tan card.  I used them horizontally and put the two together then nipped off the corner edge pieces.  Using the Garden Accessories die set, I cut the bicycle in black, the fence several times in white, the birdhouse in brown and several tulips in assorted colours.  I used an arctic blue card as the background and glued the fence along the bottom.  I added the birdhouse behind the fence and the bicycle in front of the fence.  I added a small blue bird flying towards the birdhouse and a couple of clouds from the You Are My Sunshine die set.  I cut a piece of white card and embossed it with the Twill Weave embossing folder.  I cut a piece of decorative paper from the A Gingham Christmas by Sam Poole and glued it to the bottom of the embossed card.  I added the window over the scene with mounting foam then glued it to the top of the card.  I cut the Congratulations on Your New Home sentiment in brown and added it to the white shadow backing piece and then attached it below the window.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue and all that visit today. Hope all is OK.
I do love these accessory additions they are SO useful for multiples of subjects even the festive dies are so valuable. As I have two of your large house dies this collection is a must. If you get a 'brain fog' will you consider more accessory dies like this they are so important as add ons.
Have a good day.
Me xx

I am catching up and its funny that I just finished a new home card for a new neighbor. I don't have this set but your card would have been perfect.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. We are expecting more snow here to cover up the ice that is still on the ground so i am staying in and staying warm and safe.I got a new hip 2 days before Christmas and my doctor told me I could do anything but fall, ha!
