Welcome To Your New Home

Good Sunday morning all!  I cut a piece of white card and used the Stitched Cloud die and made a stencil.  I sponged Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac Distress inks onto the white card using the stencil.  I kept moving it down the card adding the clouds to the background.  I cut a green field and added it to the bottom of the card.  I cut the Keepers Cottage in peach and added a grey roof, windows and door.  I cut a white fence and added it around the house.  I added several trees and bushes to the landscape as well as a topiary that I added by the front door.  I stamped the hot air balloon using the
Village Scenes stamp set.  I cut the Welcome To Your New Home sentiment from the Wordie sheets and added it across the bottom of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7 1/2"  in size.

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a beautiful new home card,. I hope everyone is safe and well following the massive storms in the UK over the past few days, we lost 5 fence panels but luckily my son & grandson came around with new ones and slotted them into the concrete posts. How wonderful to have such a loving family.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue. What a lovely card to celebrate someone's retirement (I wish mine would have turned out like this).
I have been in a hot air balloon over Kent, flying over houses like this and I hope people on the ground would have had a view like this.

Hi Sue, a lovely simple looking card that actually has quite a bit of work in it. Love the little touches like the fence and the balloon.

Pat - Thank you, getting there :-)
