Welcome Home

Hello crafters!  I started today's card with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card and cut the Butterfly Breeze Cover Plate.  I used the white copy and coloured the design with alcohol ink markers!     I used shades of yellow, orange and red to colour the butterfly design.  I glued the black die cut on top of the white coloured piece.  I cut a larger piece of white card and added the die cut to the top of it.  I cut the Welcome Home Stacked Shadowed sentiment out of yellow and black card.  I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the yellow die cut.  I glued the sentiment below the butterflies.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7" in size.

All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. What a striking card today. The way you have coloured the butterflies really makes them stand out but the more you look at the card you then start to notice the detail in the rest of the die cut. Very clever.

Hi Sue, a beautiful card and the butterflies could be mistaken for a piece of jewellery so lovely are they.
