Joy To The World

Hi bloggers!  I started today's card by selecting a piece of white card and adding a strip of antique gold card to both the edges.  Using the Ornate Adornment Border die, I cut the border in white and glued it to the gold strips on the sides of the card.  I cut the Poinsettia Banner in white, then added the banner strip in white.  I cut the side swirls in gold and glued them on top of the white ones.  I cut two poinsettias in red and added gold centres to them and attached them to the white die cut.  I used a green marker to colour the greenery.  I stamped the banner with the Joy To The World sentiment.  I attached the Poinsettia Banner in the centre of the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

A lovely traditional card. I love poinsettias at Christmas. I have quite a few SW poinsettia dies from over the years and a new one just arrived last week (stained glass).
I hope everyone is doing well this Monday,
Stephanie K
