Wish Big

Hello bloggers!  Today's card is a quick card that I made with leftover pieces from other cards for the most part.  I started with a piece of white card and added two striped pieces using the Monochrome Paper Pad to the sides.  Next I cut the Wish Big sentiment out of a piece of card that I attached thin strips of pinks and yellows to from my leftover scrap bin.  I cut the sentiment on the diagonal and added it to a black backing piece then glued it to the card.  I added three floating heart balloons from the Birthday Balloons die set .  The card was completed with white and back mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 1/4"in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another gorgeous 'left over bits' card love it, everything about it is gorgeous, I wish I could do that, I always seem to have a mental blank when designing my cards. Thanks for the inspirations xx

Good Morning Sue. I just love it when you come up with a fabulous card like this and then tell us it's made from pieces from the scrap box. I hate to throw good pieces away and so my scrap box is full. So what a great card this is for some inspiration. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏 everyone
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.

Hi Sue, a lovely bright and cheerful CAS card suitable for all but especially the inbetweeners. Love the way you have cut the sentiment on the diagonal, it really catches the eye.

A lovely colourful CAS card. Brilliant using your scrap card like this! I have loads of scrap pierces but they never seem big enough or the colour isn’t right for what I want to do, so they never get used. Must try using small strips like this. Thank you Sue!

Hi Sue. I love the fact that you can really experiment with your colour choices with a clean and simple card. What a good idea to use shades of pink and yellow together - something I would not have thought of before, but it really works.
